Sometimes life isn't fair. Right now is one of those times for former Marlin star Danario Alexander. The Missouri senior is rewriting the record book in Columbia, and he is clearly one of the best wide receivers in college football.

But somehow, he's not a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. What a JOKE. Apparently someone with the Biletnikoff decided it would be a good idea to only allow players who were preseason candidates for the award eligible to win the trophy. That means a player who is an relative unknown (Alexander) who has a breakout year pretty much has no shot of winning the award for the best WR in college football. Yah ... that seems fair.
The only chance Alexander has of winning the Biletnikoff is if enough people write him in. Here's hoping enough voters take notice of a guy who leads the nation in receiving yards, is second in receptions, and is fourth in touchdowns.
