It appears as though former Baylor football coach Guy Morriss is a candidate for the head coaching job at Sam Houston State.

G-Mo did a great job in his first year at Texas A&M Commerce, leading the Lions to the LSC North Division title.  I've always thought that Morriss is a good coach, and it just didn't work out at Baylor for him.  There's no shame in that.

Former Harker Heights HC Ross Rogers is also a candidate for the job.
