I'm very excited about a story running tonight on News 10 at 10 and I wanted to share a little about what you'll see. Photographer Jim Peeler and I travelled to Dallas to meet the man who was handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald in the famous photo of Oswald getting shot by Jack Ruby. Detective (ret.) Jim Leavelle is the man in the tan suit and hat, he's 90 years old, and remembers everything about that Sunday morning Nov. 24, 1963. We also sat down with photographer Bob Jackson, who took the famous photo, and he talks about his assignment that day. You'll hear things you didn't know about the Oswald shooting and I hope you'll watch. Part 2 will air tomorrow night.
