It was a day full of unscheduled free time for our 50 travelers here on Maui. Some chose to begin the day, like Weldon Schneider and me, with a generous breakfast at the Resort's buffet. Later, he joined me at 800 feet above the Pacific Ocean.

After a few photo ops in the Hyatt's Atrium, it was every one to themselves. Yes, those are live penguins below right, roaming in the air conditioned comfort of this incredible property!

Some chose the on site shops, even the well appointed golf course. Others, like Ann and me had our eyes on the large pool complex!

One of the many activities available on the Hyatt Resort's stretch of white sand beach, is para-sailing. At mid-afternoon, Weldon Schneider and I buckled in for a riveting view of the island from 800 feet in the air!

After settling back down on solid ground, I joined Ann for a stroll to Whaler's Village. Here, we boarded the public transportation and headed into Lahaina Town for our first visit to a Bubba Gump's Restaurant.

What a great end to a fun-filled day!
