With us expected to get normal amounts of precipitation in July, yet above normal precipitation for the whole summer, this would trend to a wet end of the summer. The end of the summer/beginning of fall is the peak of the hurricane season. I want to point out that this Hurricane season has been forecasted to be a more active than normal one, which could be some of the reasoning behind the forecasts for above normal precipitation at the end of summer.
