Here are just a few observations from Saturday's Race For The Cure:
* Running a 5K for the first time in a decade hurts. It really hurts.
* Laying in bed for eight hours after the race feels good. It really feels good.
* The turnout for the race is out of this world. I was amazed how many people come out to this event. We were so packed at the starting line that the first three hundred or so yards of the race is spent trying not to run over each other. I guess that's a good problem, though.
* The Susan G. Komen organization is incredibly organized. Getting so many businesses and people involved in this race is no easy ask. All of the volunteers are to commended. I am incredibly proud to have played such a small role in this amazing race.
