Greetings from a cold and snowy Oklahoma City. Yes, I said snowy. It was quite a sight this morning. Huge snowflakes!
Back to basketball now, and what a day it was. 3 of the 4 games at the Ford Center were a lot of fun to watch. And it all started with Baylor's impressive win over Kansas in the 11:30 game.
BU is playing their best basketball of the year. Yes, Baylor fans all wish they had played like this all season long, but that doesn't really matter right now. All that matters is that the Bears are playing some inspired hoops and they are just two wins away from going back to the big dance.
So, the question is this: can the Bears finish the job here in OKC? Earlier this week I would have told you that Baylor had about a 10 percent chance of winning the Big 12 tournament. Now I'd say it's pretty close to 50/50 to win it all. This tournament is full of upsets, and the truth is, there isn't much difference between the four teams that are still alive in OKC.
One more thing, if Baylor wins Friday against Texas, Baylor fans need to get in their cars and head on up to Oklahoma City. It's only about 4 and a half hours from Waco, and this team deserves your support. Especially if they play OSU in the finals (who will have a TON of fans at the game).
That's all for now. Make sure you join my live blog on Friday during the Baylor/Texas game.
