If you've been following my blog since September, you know that I worked at getting back into shape for my wedding. For the most part, I was pretty successful. I lost 46 pounds and I felt great. And I still do ... for now at least. I'm starting to slip when it comes to eating right and working out on a regular basis.
Since my wedding (1 month ago) I've gained back 7 pounds. Ugh!
So it's time to get back at it. I am still going to the gym to workout, just not often enough. I would like to go at least 5 days a week. But lately, it's been more like 2 or 3 days a week. And when I go, I just don't seem to be pushing myself like I did this fall. I need to get that motivation back!! Every Friday I am working out with my amazing trainer, Gretchen Chiles of WRS. This Friday will be the third week that I've worked out with her, and I'm pretty sure she can tell that I'm slipping a bit. Luckily she still pushes me to the limit.
As for my diet, it STINKS right now. I'm eating way too much junk food and fast food. I've got to cut it out. I know that eating right is a huge reason I lost all of that weight last fall. It is so easy to get back into bad habits, and that's just what I've done. It's not nearly as easy getting back into good habits.
I'll try and update things in a month or so to let you know how things are going.
And oh yah, if anyone has any food or training tips for me or anyone else who is working out a lot, I'd love to hear them.
