David Letterman is back on tonight, after who knows how many weeks off the air, and he has his writers on board!  It will be interesting to see Letterman and Leno finally get a chance to take a few shots at the Presidential candidates, especially right before the first round of elections.  All of the candidates have kind of gotten to skip that "right of passage" as it is, since the late night shows haven't been writing new content about any of the ups or the downs of the campaigns. 

I don't know about you, but I am ready for the return of TV.  I liked the new CBS show "Big Bang Theory" and watching the re-runs of the 6 or so episodes that originally aired is losing some appeal.  Though we have seen some interesting reality/game show type shows come out of the writers strike, I am really wishing for sitcoms to be back on.  What about you?  Are you ready for the return, or don't really care?
