Every Sunday night for the past two years while I was in Wichita Falls, I would release my college football Top 10 on our 30-minute sports show.  And throughout the week, I would have viewers comment, good and bad, about the poll.  Debates would flare up with locals just about everywhere I went.  That's one of the unique things about college football -- it's the only sport where perception and opinion play a role in who wins a championship. 

So, to keep the tradition going, here is my preseason Top 10 for the 2010 college football season.  I'll be sure to update the poll each week, and I can't wait to debate you out in Waco real soon.  Enjoy!

3. Oklahoma

4. Texas

5. Iowa

6. TCU

7. Nebraska

8. Florida

9. Miami (FL)

    C'mon Boise St. at #10? After last night, you have got to be regretting that choice. I know your next argument is going to be the Broncos schedule but then you have TCU at #6. And Miami (FL) in the top 10 may be premature. I'd say they are a good squad one year away from being in the upper echelon.

    Ohio State and OU infront of UT? LOL. OU's QB is horrible and Ohio's QB (I know he's looked at highly) always chokes!
