I’ve got to be brutally frank with you --- we are seriously concerned about the level of donations to our U.S. Marine Corp “Toys for Tots” drive this year!
As you probably have heard, donations nationwide have been dramatically impacted by a strain on everyone’s pocketbook, a partial result of those sky-high gas prices I would bet.

Our studio is currently down around 30 percent in the number of toys brought in – compared to this time in year’s past.    The Marines report the same concerns in drop-off locations around Central Texas.   We simply need more help!

I’m asking you in the most sincere way – to PLEASE assist us through Friday evening, December 14^th.   Our News 10 Waco lobby will be accepting new, unwrapped gifts through 5pm daily.   Our Final “Drive Through” will offer an opportunity for you to swing by any of three locations Friday evening from 4pm to 9pm:

I will be outside the News 10 Waco studio (around back under the covered parking area)
Highway 6 access road – behind American Bank.

 
Keith Cavey will man our site at Temple’s Walmart  - off 31^st street.

 
Brady Taylor will man our site at Killeen Mall – off U.S. 190.

PLEASE do whatever you are able to – and bring a toy or cash donation by one of the Friday evening sites.   Let’s pitch in and bring this holiday campaign to a successful end and insure that every child in Central Texas has a wonderful Christmas this year!
