Let's call it Super Saturday.  A perfect tune-up for your delicious meal and Super Bowl party.

It's a crucial part of the regular season for both the Baylor men and women.  Wins for both teams could be as important as Nolan Ryan being a part of your campaign.

Colorado vs. Baylor, 7:30 pm

The Lady Bears are coming off their first road victory in the Big 12, and are looking to win consecutive league games for the first time this season.  Kim Mulkey hasn't had it this rough (3-4 start) since 2002-03 when they finished just 8-8 in the Big 12.  I don't see that happening again, but Baylor can't afford a slip up this Saturday against Colorado.  After Saturday, 4 out of their next 5 games are against teams in the top 5 of the league.  Colorado has had a week to dwell on their loss against Nebraska, but then again, so have 20 other teams.  It isn't a season changing win for the Lady Bears, but it's definitely a must win.  And win they will.

Baylor @ Texas A&M, 3:00 pm

The men's team avoided the let-down after their triumphant win against the Longhorns, but now they're looking to avoid the let-down after the non-let-down (or something like that).  Baylor won consecutive league games for the first time this year, but 3 W's in a row looks waaaaay cooler than just 2.  Just ask BW-3's (Wild Wings and Weck in case you didn't know).  If Baylor can steal a win in College Station, they've got a shot to rattle off 7 straight wins before the season finale with Texas, and the only real challenges coming @ OSU and home again against Texas A&M.  On the road at Oklahoma doesn't appear to be a problem after their 31 point victory over the Sooners at home.  The Aggies are coming in with some momentum too, so will the Bears be able make it 3 in a row?  Plain and simple: Yup.

Yep. Big weekend for baylor basketball. A chance for one team to get on a winning streak, and for another to prove the country that they belong at the top.

Tom, you need to do this before every Baylor game. Great job previewing.
