Q:  Do you know what's going to happen next season on "CSI:?"  Is Warrick dead?  What about "Criminal Minds?"

A:  Most shows have not written episodes for next season, so that nothing gets on the internet during the summer.  So we don't know what's going to happen.  I do know that the actor who plays Warrick, Gary Dourdan, had some personal problems last year and was on thin ice with the producers of "CSI:"  But according to Carol Mendelsohn, executive producer of the show, Warrick will appear in Season 9 and "not just in flashbacks."  If I were guessing, I think we have a tear jerking death scene coming up.

Q:  I'm tired of reality shows.  Why are they on all summer?

Because they are cheap to produce.  The average reality show costs around $150,000 an episode.  A hour long drama is around $2 million.  And you haven't even paid the stars.  It serves a purpose; it's new programming for the networks to promote and it's not reruns for the viewers.  So expect them to stick around for a while.  Scary to think that the first modern day reality show, "Survivor," has been on since 2000.

Q:  My family and I are offended by the contest of the CBS program "Swingtown."  The offensive content clearly violated our local community standard and does not reflect your license obligation to "to serve the public interest."  I urge you to refuse to air future episodes of "Swingtown."

A:  This is a letter that we have gotten from a lot of people in the past couple of weeks.  If you want to contact CBS about the show (or any show), go to this web address:  http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.shtml

Q:  I have put several comments on your website and have not seen them show up.  Why?

A:  Our comments section flags any words that it deems offensive.  If there are any curse words or foul language, it gets put into a blocked file.  There are even some words that you may not consider offensive that are sometimes flagged.  Just use the old rule of if you would not say it to your grandmother, don't say it here.  Also, if there are continued violations by a person on the comments section, they can be subject to getting their IP address banned.

Q:  In response to that MMA fight last month, EliteXC is like a minor league compared to UFC.  CBS did a dis-service to MMA by showing this fight.

A:  I'll have to disagree about this.  The "EliteXC Saturday Night Fights" show opened MMA up to people who never thought about watching a match.  It wasn't great fighting, but it was something different for a Saturday night.  But it is good to know that EliteXC isn't on the same level as UFC.  Thanks for the information.

Q:  We loved when the weather staff did extra coverage online during the storms last month.  Will that be done again?

Thanks for watching us online.  We did it as a trial to see how it felt, and I really think that the weather staff loved doing it.  It was non-stop weather with just a little bit of a relaxed behind-the scenes fill.  Plus it served a purpose we didn't even think of.  Since many of you see us on DirecTV, when the storms brew, you sometimes lose your signal.  So we heard from many folks who kept up with the weather online that way.  And I think that when we have another big storm, we will be going online with more special coverage.
