Our rain gauge shows a total of 1 MM of rain this month. I watched the clouds circle around us for 3 days. This morning we were drowning in our 1 MM of rain! I agree with Sabrina from Killeen.

I heard something this morning, and thought it was rain. Then I realized my neighbors dog was peeing on an old beer can in the yard. Dang, we could use some rain here. I think it is a conspiracy theory by the government, they are trying to force out us right wing conservatives with a drought. Stand your ground soldiers, and drink beer and pee on your yards!!! It might be the only moisture we get, and you at least enjoy the heat that way!!! Ha Ha Ha...

Lon, No rain here! Not single solitary drop. We are bone dry and need rain in a bad way. Wells are starting dry up for some folks. Why is it we always see, smell and hear the storm and we get squat! We are 5 Miles north of Florence. We have not had anything in months. Oh it did spit for 3 minutes a few weeks ago! We will take what we can get. Please explain to me why there is rain literally all around us but not here! Thanks

Lon, I read an article in the Temple Daily Telegram which stated that Bell County is the driest in Texas. Can you explain why it rains to the north, to the west, to the east and even to the south ... but we get (if we're lucky) 0.1 inch; or worse, no rain and blazing hot sun while all around us rain is falling? I live at Belton Lake, and our home has received less than half an inch of rain in the last two months.
