Workshops are available free-of-charge to people who have Chronic Conditions/ Illness like Heart Disease, Arthritis, MS, COPD, Diabetes, chronic Pain, etc. and/or their significant others (spouse, relatives, friends). Learn how to how to self-manage your chronic condition and take control of your health!
The workshop focuses on managing symptoms, communicating about your condition, decreasing stress, making informed treatment decisions, using medication appropriately, and setting weekly goals. Program is sponsored by Area Agency on Aging of the Heart of Texas and does not require a doctor’s order or replace your existing treatments.
