AUSTIN (June 20, 2014) Hillary Rodham Clinton returns to Texas Friday to promote her new memoir about her four years as President Barack Obama's secretary of state.
Friday night the potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate will be in Austin to discuss the book "Hard Choices."
The appearance comes a day after Obama announced that he was sending up to 300 military advisers to Iraq to help quell a rising insurgency.
Clinton's successor, Secretary of State John Kerry, says the Obama administration has been deeply engaged in the Middle East amid criticism that the U.S. has been too passive in Iraq.
"Hard Choices" sold more than 100,000 copies during its first week.
Clinton says at the end of the book that she's still undecided about seeking the presidency again.
