Obama, Romney Spar Over Who Is The Real Agent Of Change

HILLIARD, Ohio (November 2, 2012)--As they headed into the final weekend of a hard-fought presidential campaign, President Barack Obama and his GOP challenger Mitt Romney were both describing themselves to voters as the true agent of change and And each says his rival can talk a good game, but doesn't have the right policies to deliver.

Romney, in a speech in Wisconsin that was billed as his closing argument, said Mr. Obama "promised change, but he couldn't deliver it."

"I promise change, but I have a record of achieving it,” Romney said.

"We are four days away from a fresh start,” he told the crowd.

Mr. Obama, speaking in Ohio, retorted that Romney is a "very talented salesman," but that he's trying to re-package the old-school Republican policies that Mr. Obama says left so many Americans in financial trouble.

"We know what change looks like,” Mr. Obama told a crowd in Ohio, and he said it's not what Romney is offering.

For the first time, Mr. Obama took on Romney directly over the Republican's ads airing in Ohio on the auto industry bailout.

The ads accuse Mr. Obama of selling Chrysler to an Italian company that is building jeeps in China.

Mr. Obama says everyone knows the ads aren't true, but that Romney is trying to scare people in order to win the election.

The Romney campaign is standing by the ads.
