WASHINGTON (November 1, 2009)—Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh says President Barack Obama's bid to overhaul the health care system is a government attempt to seize control of a big part of the country's economy.
Limbaugh, who's one of Mr. Obama's harshest critics, says Americans are witnessing an unprecedented "kind of radical leadership" in the White House.
Limbaugh told "Fox News Sunday" that the health care proposals in Congress would become "the biggest snatch of freedom and liberty" ever seen in the United States.

Yep...lower taxes, smaller govt., national defense, and the rule of law....sounds radical to me. Socialism, higher taxes, govt. taking care of you from womb to tomb, large govt. bureaucracy....sounds moderate to me. I also have some ocean front property in west Texas I am willing sell and a bridge in New York city.

I agree with you, Reason, that--as Rush Limbaugh is too Fringe-Right-Wing--Michael Moore is too Fringe-Left-Wing. The American people seem to want caring folks working mostly "in the middle" to represent the interests of all Americans & not just the fringe groups & special interests as the Republicans did. Politicians are going to have to be not too much to the left and not too much to the right. I believe the word I am looking for is MODERATE. Too bad there are no moderate Republicans any more--their own party has devoured them for being moderate & not being hard-right conservative enough. The Republican Party is becoming marginalized & irrelevant by its Hard-Right Wing. And that will be a good thing for America.

Bravo Observer... your post are very diplomatic and articulatley stated. I have never felt them to be any kind of ugly. Texan and Ms. Susie might learn a thing or two from your diplomacy. I agree with you Rush Limbaugh lost all credibility with me many years ago. America could do better than to listen to such hate filled venemous diatribe. Michael Moore is not one I would listen to either.... he's not quite as bad ad Rush but he too found a way to line his pocket with controversary and conspiracy theories.
