SOCIALISM: The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not been successfully achieved. NOTE: Obama and his cronies are WELL ON THEIR WAY to bringing the US economy under the collective ownership of a dictatorship!

Anonymous--- Chet does what you want him to do and you still bash him???? *lol* I recommend that you continue to go under the guise of "anonymous" your comments are perposterous! Many of the folks here that keep using the term "socialism" don't even know what "socialism" is. Stop being followers and educate yourselves!

The only thing Chet cares about is re-election. Once he knew it had enough votes to pass he voted no. Look at anything he does. He doesn't speak out against it at all, until the day of the vote and then votes against it. That's a sure sign he's really for it.

Mr. Edward's is a very smart man. He would do well selling snake oil also. He knows how to sound like a conservative when he has an election coming up. After he is re-elected he will vote like a Liberal that he is until the next election year comes around then he is back to being Mr. Snake Oil Conservative again! When will you voters in his district actually wake up..Oh forgot you are too ignorant to see what is right in front of you. Good luck....

Chet never took a stand against the health care bill. He waited until he knew Nancy Pelosi had the votes. Chet needs to go.

Give credit where credit is due...Chet voted 'no' for very good reasons when the rest of the Dems were following the herd. You really can't find fault with that even if you are a Rep. Good job, Chet!

Chet Edwards never took a stand. He voted "yes" to having this bill brought to the House vote. He did not vote no until Pelosi had the votes to win. Chet needs to go.

I'm glad both Carter and Edwards listened to the overwhelming majority of Central Texans. Thank you for protecting our freedoms. Say no to Socialized Medicine!
