DALLAS (November 21, 2009)--Texas Gov. Rick Perry and U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, have agreed to a debate before their hotly contested Republican gubernatorial primary next spring.

Dallas public television station KERA said Friday both candidates accepted a Jan. 14 for a televised debate in northern Texas.

The Texas GOP primary is March 2.

The station said Hutchison might ask for the debate to be rescheduled if it conflicts with a Senate vote on health care reform.

The live, hour-long debate will include an audience and questions posed by journalists.

It will be distributed to all TV and radio stations in the state.

KERA officials say they are planning a separate debate for the Democratic primary.

Observer - you really don't care about Republicans. Why bother with a thread about a Republican debate? Is 'Observer' really 'Kinky'? Oh yeah, I got lost on your 'seconds' in your previous address. Please don't come back with thirds or forths. Substance, not conspiracy about who is in who's pocket. It's funny how liberals think they are privy to so much secret info the rest of us don't have.

Observer-you really should consider moving to California or Illinois where you can live in one of those utopia economies created by liberal thinking. just imagine being amongst all the obambots, might even lower your blood pressure a bit. I hear it is real cheap to rent a U-Haul from Texas to California. Isn't Kinky running on the dem ticket this time? maybe that would be more to your liking.

People of Texas are going to vote her in. Hope she stands up for the people and not lie or become corrupt. Perry became corrupt, lied and out of touch with the people. It may take four years for the people to react but they do react by their votes. Get over it Perry, you screwed up and the people have spoken!
