CONCORD, N.H. (February 18, 2014) U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., is calling on Republicans to abandon government-backed solutions and instead unite against what he calls President Barack Obama's "imperial presidency."

The Republican congressman said during a rare New Hampshire appearance Monday he's not interested in running for president, but wants to help shape the debate as New Hampshire voters begin to vet 2016 White House contenders.

In his speech he railed against the Obama administration's missteps on the health care rollout, the IRS and the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

He repeatedly referred to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's role in the deadly Libya attack.

It was the first of three public appearances over two days in the state hosting the nation's first presidential primary election.
