WASHINGTON (December 3, 2013) President Barack Obama said Tuesday the Affordable Care Act "is working and will work into the future."
Mr. Obama said the benefits of the law have "gotten lost" in recent months as attention focused on the widespread problems that crippled the website where people can sign up for health insurance.
The president said the website is now working well "for the vast majority of users,” but said more problems may pop up and the administration will fix them when they do.
Mr. Obama was joined at a health care event on Tuesday by people the White House says have benefited from the law.
It's the first in a series of events to try to refocus on positive aspects of the law after the troubled rollout of the insurance exchanges.
