Pickup Former President Drove On Central Texas Ranch Up For Auction

DALLAS (December 18, 2012)--A pickup that former President George W. Bush used on his Central Texas ranch will be auctioned off to benefit a program dedicated to assisting U.S. military families.

The Barrett-Jackson auction house in Scottsdale, Ariz., says the 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4-by-4 SuperCrew will be offered on Jan. 19.

Proceeds will go to the Fisher House Foundation.

Bush signed the truck’s right airbag panel is signed and the buyer will also get a video showing Bush autographing the truck and driving around the ranch near Crawford.

Bush, who left office in 2009, said in a news release, "I haven't driven on a street in many, many years, but I have been able to drive this truck on my ranch."
