WACO (August 11, 2009)—Republican Central Texas congressional candidate Rob Curnock of Waco has launched a weekly podcast called the Conservative Report, which he says will look at issues facing the region and the nation.

Curnock is hoping to win the GOP nomination to challenge Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco, against whom he ran a close, but underfunded race in 2008.

“Under the leadership of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, and with the obedient consent of our current congressman, Washington is out of control and out of step with our values,” Curnock said.

“I am committed to making sure our Central Texas conservative values are represented in Washington, beginning with the 2010 election,” he said.

The one-minute reports are available on Curnock’s campaign Web site as well as through Apple’s iTunes service.

Joined him the other day on Facebook. I'm glad he ran last year because the whole Rep party was going to give Chet a free pass. Since Rob stood up to him last year, now everyone knows the race is winnable. Rob ran in a primary like 10 years ago, but last year was his first race in the new district. And it was like 52-46. Repubs need to stop fighting and get behind Rob already; he has support all over the district, not just in one part. 2010 will be the year; I'm supporting Rob!

Yeah, Texan, let's get a new government top to bottom - another Bush administration - well, that would be the bottom - now all we need is a top!!!!! Ooops- haven't found a Republican for that job yet.

This guy could not get elected to a position in the Lion's Club. He has run for this and lost how many times? (SEVERAL) And if (and this is a big IF) he wins the primary Rep. Edwards will devour him. This guy needs to let someone else take the lead on this campaign. He has tried and FAILED and FAILED and FAILED. I had a very poor experience with this gentleman's business when it was located on Valley Mills Dr., his dishonesty and/or lack of organization cost me about $100. Even though I am a life long Republican I will not support this candidate ever and will encourage every one to vote for his opponent(S)
