WASHINGTON (October 6, 2009)--California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has issued a statement in which he says he supports President Barack Obama's goals of reforming the country's health care system to hold down costs and improve quality.

The statement doesn't endorse any specific legislation, but Schwarzenegger says he appreciates Obama's partnership with the states and thinks lawmakers from both parties should "move forward and accomplish these vital goals for the American people."

Schwarzenegger's comments came as the White House and Senate Democrats touted other statements of support from Republicans, although most have been accompanied by various caveats.

Former Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson, former Senate Republican Leader Bill Frist and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg have all weighed in as well.

We all agree there needs to be something done about health care. Obama's solution is not it. Don't we pay enough taxes without having to pay more tax on the health reform bill and pay an additinal who knows how much extra on health insurance. Our country is in very poor shape with millions without jobs and Obama wants to increase our taxes, health insurance and penalize Americans for not carrying health insurance. To me it seems we will ALL be living together and have one vehicle it one at all. Thank goodness Texas can split from the United States when it wants to. It seems that time is getting nearer and nearer each year.

This guy is a joke just like the rest of the politicians in Washington. He'll try to run for president next, and with the current administration trying to change our CONSTITUTION he might get the chance!
