Citizen and Texan, you are wasting your time arguing with Observer. she is one of those blame everything on Bush, 0 worshiper. she is unable to admit that the problems we have now are results of years of both parties running amuck. she is unable to see that trillions in spending and more taxes and subsidies are not the answer. she is unable to see that dems have actually been in control of congress since 2006. she is unable to admit that the 0 was a sitting senator voting on bills and laws that got us into this mess like the community reinvestment act. she is unable to see that government is the problem not the answer. i for one do not trust either party in government to do the right thing. there is a movement starting that she may want to pay attention to. look at NY-23. BTW Observer the tea partiers are NOT part of the republican party in any way. they want no part of the repubs or dems. sorry to burst your bubble..

OK, TEXAN, you must include George W. Bush & Republicans as wanting to take over "everything" as you say, as it was not President Obama but George W. Bush who started with banks & Wall Street & must have wanted to cripple the economy (or so you say). Obama is dealing with the aftermath of almost utter destruction of America by George W. Bush & greeedy & corrupt absolute Republican rule for many years. You are an incorrect fearmonger & hatemonger, but a fearmonger & hatemonger none the less. To Citizen: Most small business owners are FOR the financial assistance that Obama will provide to them, i.e. TAXPAYER FUNDS, to help small businessses with their employee insurance. You could just turn that subsidy offer down. At least you admit small businesses are in the process of recovering.

This is exactly what kind of change he meant we he was running for office. What he failed to disclose is that He wants to cripple the economy so bad that the small business and the private sector would have to submit to whatever NEW JOB the government would create for them. He's already started with the big companies, auto, banks and real estate, tobacco,Wall Street, and possibly healthcare. The growth of the third quarter was created from Cash for Clunkers and the TAX CREDIT for First Time Homebuyers, Both Funded from TAXPAYER DOLLARS. Obama's plan is to keep EVERYONE down until they have to use Government Assistance, and the Democrats are ALL FOR IT!!Health care will be the end to AMERICA we learned about in History or the America we grew up in, Morals and Responsibilty, WORLD Wide has taken a backseat to POWER and GREED. Get rid of independently Wealthy CAREER Politicans, and start over with "TERM LIMITS", VOTE IN 2010 FOR GOVERNMENT OVERHAUL!

How does this guy expect me to expand my business and hire more employees when his healthcare reform has me scared I am going to have to lay off the employees I have???? Everyone I talk to is holding back right now, not doing any business because they are all scared of how much this healthcare is going to cost. If he wants to grow the economy, kill the healthcare talk and let small business owners move on with their recovery.
