NEW YORK (November 12, 2009)—The McCain-Palin campaign was not a happy family, according to Sarah Palin’s new book, "Going Rogue," in which Palin confirms reports of tension between her aides and those of the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain.

She confirms that she had wanted to speak on election night, but was denied the chance and says she was kept "bottled up" from reporters.

Palin also wrote harshly of CBS anchor Katie Couric, whom she describes as "badgering" and biased.

Palin's book comes out Nov. 17.

The Associated Press purchased a copy Thursday.

Not necessarily! Anyone could see what Sarah Palin is if they just wanted to. BTW, an interesting thing happened at my work today. A lady from Alaska came in. Of course, talk turned to the lovely Sarah Palin, and it was not favorable by the lady or me. She & her husband are both Republican-- she voted for McCain (in spite of Sarah being on the ticket) and her husband--a staunch Republican--voted for Obama. He disliked Palin & MCCain--he said McCain was "too old & ditzy" & Palin was "pretty with an empty head and deinitely unqualifed." This lady also said due to Sarah running out on Alaska as the governor, now the pipeline deal with Canada was dead & there would not be any pipeline at all. Don't know what that means, but she said Alaska was not happy with Quitter Sarah Palin and to please not buy her book. This conversation confirmed that my first impression of Sarah Palin was "Spot-on!" (as Rick Perry says) & that I have lived long enough to be an excellent judge of character.

Katie Couric was just doing her job when she interviewed Sarah Palin. Katie was someone Palin could not fawn over & have succumb to her "charms"-- like she thought a man would do. Palin was just being herself--Ignorant & Unqualified Beauty Queen.
