WASHINGTON (November 16, 2009)--A new Associated Press poll shows that Americans are divided about the Democratic health care bills advancing in the U.S. House and Senate.

Although most agree that major health care changes are needed, the public is worried that hidden costs are lurking in the fine print of the sweeping legislation.

The poll found that 43 percent oppose the health care plans now under consideration in Congress, while 41 percent support the measures, which amounts to a statistical tie.

Another 11 percent remain undecided and could hold the key to the final verdict on President Barack Obama's signature issue.

The results mark a slight slippage for the overhaul plan, down from a 40-40 split in an AP poll last month.

Opponents have stronger feelings on the issue than do supporters.

The poll shows Americans divided???? Where????? Everyone I talk to thinks this bill will bankrupt the country. I bet half the people polled work for a living while the other half sit on the porch and drink all day..................

Even though most Americans are skeptical, Pelosi, Reid, and the other Socialist cronies are determined to shove this horrible piece of legislation down American's throats, and at a terrible cost. Hopefully the senate will have enough votes to filibuster. Kill the bill NOW!!!
