AUSTIN (November 19, 2009)--Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, will begin airing television spots on Friday, a day after she launched a radio campaign in her effort to unseat Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Hutchison campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Baker said the TV ads start Friday and air around the state through Thanksgiving.

Baker said the TV ad would highlight Hutchison's opposition to the Democrats' health care overhaul legislation in Congress.

Hutchison is trying to unseat Perry in the March 2010 Republican primary.
