NEW YORK (November 20, 2009)—Sarah Palin’s book "Going Rogue" is going to be a big seller.
Publisher HarperCollins said Friday that memoir sold 300,000 copies its first day, among the best openings ever for a nonfiction book.
In 2004, Bill Clinton's "My Life" debuted with sales of 400,000 copies.
The year before, Hillary Rodham Clinton's "Living History" started at 200,000.
"Going Rogue" was released this week and its print run already has been increased from 1.5 million copies to 2.5 million, HarperCollins announced Friday.
Palin, the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate, is on a nationwide promotional tour that will include a stop on Dec. 4 at Fort Hood for a benefit for the victims of the Nov. 5 shooting rampage.
Palin, on her blog for the "Going Rogue" book tour, says she's "especially looking forward to meeting our brave men and women in uniform at Fort Hood."
Palin said she will donate royalties from book sales during her stop at Fort Hood to the victims and their families.

I'm sorry I realize that this woman put herself in the limelight when she ran for VP last year but now that she's not in office, people need to choose someone else to talk about. I believe that she is not only a great mom, great republican and also great person. I saw her on Oprah, and well I couldn't change the channel, I wanted to know everything I could about her. I can't wait to get her book! Well, I hope she does run in 2012, but like she said on Oprah: " She wants to see her youngest son go off to Kindergarten, and she wants to take him". Well, the only way she'll do that when he goes to Kindergarten in 2012, is to not be President. But, she needs to live her life and keep going. She is such a successful woman!! YOU GO SARAH!!!! :)
