Gaps Emerge In Census Outreach To Immigrants

LAREDO (February 1, 2010)--U.S. Census Bureau Robert Groves visited border colonias Monday near Laredo in an effort to make sure everyone is tallied in the 2010 count.
Critics charge the government is fumbling some efforts to assure immigrants that census data won't be used against them, and some foreign language guides refer to the decennial count as an investigation.
Groves told a small gathering of colonia residents Monday that he couldn't share their household survey with anyone, but the Census Bureau has plenty of work ahead.
Groves arrived in a small convoy that included several police cars and large white vans.
One resident it was just the kind of sight that causes some residents to hide when census workers come calling.
The census officially began last month in parts of rural Alaska.
Most Americans will receive their forms by mail the week of March 15.

This is another fine example of how the liberal politicians are subverting the law. The liberals WANT the illegal aliens (NOT IMMIGRANTS, ILLEGAL ALIENS!) TO BE COUNTED AS A FIRST STEP TO GIVING THEM AMNESTY AND CITIZENSHIP. So Obama has ordered that the census include illegal aliens. Now realise, the census is taken OF AMERICAN CITIZENS EVERY TEN YEARS by law...get the message liberals, CITIZENS ONLY! Illegal aliens should not be counted, they are not citizens, they are here illegally and you cannot change that with a promise not to prosecute them. Liberals will next say "Look how many people are disenfranchised because they are undocumented immigrants, we must allow them to vote and become instant citizens!" That's what the liberals want to do. This is an example of how they are aiming to convince the politicians to do it. NO MATTER WHAT THE VOTERS THINK OF IT, IN FACT DESPITE THE VOTERS REPEATEDLY SAYING THEY ARE AGAINST AMNESTY AND CITIZENSHIP FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS! Think about it...
