(February 19, 2008)--Tickets given away for free for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's rally Tuesday night in Houston were being offered for up to $200 on a popular online classified ads site.

The campaign distributed about 20,000 free tickets for the 8 p.m. rally held at the Toyta Center arena.

The arena, home to the NBA Houston Rockets, can seat up to 19,000 people.

With tickets no longer available, some people posted advertisements on Craigslist.com saying they would be willing to pay from $50 to $75 for tickets.

One ad offered to sell an extra ticket for $200.

Some found the whole process crass.

"I am happy to donate $75 to the Obama campaign to purchase this, but I will not subsidize the greed of people who are selling them for their personal profit," according to another ad on the
Web site.
