New TYC Ombudsman Barred From TYC Facilities
The Texas Youth Commission’s new ombudsman has been barred from entering TYC facilities because of an investigation of allegations she twice tried to smuggle in weapons, drugs and cash.

Well Rick, If you called ME a criminal, I wouldnt rush to appoint you to anything. Burt "we shouldn’t be supervised." what point are you trying to make exactly?

Yep! Sounds like she found her a lover who is a TYC inmate! Hey the teachers keep having affairs with kids, why not an Ombudsman? I want to know where these "Hot-to Trot" female teachers were when I was in my teens! I could have used some "training" from an older and more experienced woman!

The woman isn't behind bars yet? Bringing anything in to an offender is a crime, no matter the offender's age. Just because she has been to college and has several degrees, doesn't mean she isn't a criminal too! I have worked with numerous people who have college degrees who are now in prison. And YES, someone else would know about a sting. How about this? Maybe she fell victim to some sweet talking youngster that has some dirt on her. Still isn't a good reason to bring anything in to an offender! Another example of STUPID PEOPLE!

She is being accused of illegal activities. I wonder if she perhaps discovered "issues" within the facility and was fired and accused for bringing the problems to attention.

Evans trying to stage her own sting operation to test agency security. Yah sure right ah ha just another screw up from Gov. Rick Perry so we shouldn’t be supervised.

Yeah right! That doesn't fly with me. If she was testing the employees, wouldn't anybody else know about it? Or maybe they didn't get the memo. Throw her in jail with all those lovely little misguided children.

File charges against her, try her in a Court-of-Law, and just put her inside, looking out!!

She might one of those with a highly intellectual criminalist minds that is good at impersonating whatever type of person she wants to be at the moment. The ablity to con and manipulate people. Hey she all of the qualifications to run as a republican for state gov. Perry probably will endorse her.

Leave it to Perry to appoint a fellow CRIMINAL as ombudsman! I have never broken the law in my life but he doesn't seem interested in appointing ME to anything....I guess only his fellow crooks, or maybe lovers, get appointed!

Why do people keep making it difficult for us to help these kids? Do you know how difficult it is to teach a child with a criminal history that crime is wrong when adults keep doing it? Kids do 20% of what you say and 80% of what they see! If no one instructed her to set up some private sting operation, then she can't prove that this is what she was doing and she should be held accountable just like anyone else. They've fired people for felonies 20 years old; she should be fired for her current felony! If the facilities can't have bleach to kill germs, she can't bring in a gun & money!! People who try these things are usually disgruntle parents because they've had children or other family incarcerated & they're angry! Check HER background!! Leave us alone so those of us who truly want to help these kids CAN!!
