Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

Please be aware, this automated system purges all entries at 10am each day Central Time. If you have posted a delay or closing occuring after 10am or wish to post such an event, it must be posted (or re-posted) after 10am.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Cool, Wet Weather Continues

From Nathan Gogo:

Periods of light rain continues into Sunday. Temperatures will remain above freezing and so roadways will just be wet and not icy.

Central Texas will remain in a pattern which will include periodic rain and continue for much of next week. We also see a warming trend for Monday and Tuesday where Tuesday we should reach near 70 degrees.

As far as rain chances, that'll be the case for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with Wednesday evening having a chance for some of that to switch over to snow and sleet as temperatures drop below freezing. We'll continue to keep you updated as we get closer.

Once we hit Thursday we'll see a lot more sunshine into the next weekend with temperatures still on the below average side.
