Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Another Round of Rain & Thunderstorms?

Wednesday's weather began with some patchy morning fog but quickly improved, and by the early afternoon, Central Texas was under bright, blue skies!

Highs Thursday will warm into the lower 90s following morning temperatures in the mid and upper 60s.

The next upper air disturbance will produce another set of showers and thunderstorms, but we are NOT anticipating the type of threats that Tuesday's weather brought!
