Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Storm Threats In Central Texas Tuesday!

The powerful tornado which destroyed much of Moore, Oklahoma is further evidence of the risk of severe weather during Springtime in the Plains!

Severe storms produced large hail and numerous funnel clouds to the west of Waco-Temple & Killeen Monday. Tuesday, all of Central Texas will see the potential for stormy weather. Any storms that form could produce gusty winds, large hail, and possibly a few isolated tornadoes!
