Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Last Rain Chance Today

Lingering boundaries from rains the last few days could help spark a few storms today. Storms should be weak, not last long, and will be widely scattered. Not everyone will see rain today, in fact most probably wont see a drop.

Unfortunately, today will be the last rain chance for awhile as high pressure settles back in. For the latter half of the week, the heat and humidity roll on with daily high temps in the 90s and "feels like" temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s.
