Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Most of Central Texas will make it into the lower 90s, and for many areas this will be the first time this year we reach the 90° mark. Lower 90s are expected for most of the next 7 afternoons.

The West Texas "dry line" will slosh back and forth over the next few days, thunderstorms out west will form and drift east and northeast. Overall rain chances through the weekend appear less than 20%, but if any storms do form they could quickly become strong to severe!
