Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Embarking On More Typical June Weather!

From Rusty Garrett:

Thunderstorms "bubbled up" in the afternoon heat this Wednesday - both north and east of the Waco-Temple-Killeen area. Limestone and Freestone county showers were drifting slowly toward East Texas, but the clusters of storms to our north built south, first into northern Bosque and Hill counties. Several other clusters have been active along I-20.

These may be the last of the afternoon downpours for quite a stretch as that stubborn high pressure system, so typical

For the latter half of the week, the heat and humidity roll on with daily high temps in the 90s and "feels like" temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s.
