Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

Please be aware, this automated system purges all entries at 10am each day Central Time. If you have posted a delay or closing occuring after 10am or wish to post such an event, it must be posted (or re-posted) after 10am.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Some Sun Expected For Sunday, But Chilly

From Nathan Gogo:

A chance for a light shower still possible into Saturday night however gradual clearing will be the main idea through late Saturday night and into Sunday. Lows for Saturday night will be chilly, into the mid 30's with blustery north winds gusting up to 25 mph. We'll see some sun on Sunday but will still be cool with high's near 50 degrees.

We'll get a brief warm-up on Monday when we get southerly winds. High's will reach to 60 degrees. That warm-up will be short lived however as another cold front moves through Monday night into Tuesday which will be even colder. Highs on Tues-Thurs will range from the upper 30's to lower 40's.

New Years Day at this point looks uncomfortable. High's in the low 40's with a good chance for some cold rain.
