KWTX - Closings

Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Hot Days, Mild Nights

From Ben Walnick:

The next 7 days look hot! The "coolest" high temperature will likely still be in the upper 80s and most areas will see at least one day in the mid 90s. Mornings will be warm too with lows mainly in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Rain chances mainly will stay West on Sunday and Monday, but a stray storm is possible well West of I-35. With a front approaching the area our best storm chances will be Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Hopefully the front will bring a nice soaking rain for all of us! We will watch potential rain totals and severe weather chances closely over the coming days.
