Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Monday Rain For A Lucky Few!

From Rusty Garrett:

A body of rain and embedded thunderstorms passed from The Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma down into parts of North and Central Texas early this Monday. Rainfall amounts ranged from just a trace, up to around a tenth of an inch or so...and mainly east of I-35.

A weak cool front will stall out just north and west of Central Texas through Tuesday night. This may allow a few more storms to pop. Coverage overall, remains somewhat limited but soaking downpours are possible where it rains.

Otherwise, the heat and humidity rolls on with daily high temps well into the 90s and "feels like" temperatures above 100°.
