Severe Weather Closing Registration

KWTX-TV uses an automated system for school delays and closings due to weather emergencies. This system allows each school district to enter information specific to its situation using the internet. Only schools, colleges and major businesses will be displayed on television. All registered organizations are displayed on this page below.

To access the system, your organization must be registered with KWTX-TV. Once the form is received, your organization will be issued a user id and password to access the system via the internet.

Severe Storm Potential for Central Texas!

** All of Central Texas is under a Tornado Watch until 7pm**

Today is a day that you want to keep a close eye on the weather!

Most of Central Texas is under a Moderate Risk for severe weather today. By early this afternoon storms will start to form across Central Texas, and will likely last through the evening hours. Any storms that form could produce gusty winds, large hail, and possibly a few tornadoes!

The rest of the week look warm and mainly rain-free.
