Erin Zeller is originally from Fort Worth, and graduated from University of North Texas, where she majored in Converged Broadcast Media with a minor in Communications.

She fell in love with news and storytelling during the three years she volunteered at the UNT campus station, North Texas Television, as an Anchor, Producer, and co-host of the premiere season of Good Morning North Texas.

She gained experience shooting, writing, and editing her own stories and interviewing influential people like ice cream makers, Ben and Jerry, and Breaking Bad actor/activist RJ Mitte.
North Texas Television is where she found her passion for reporting, and gives credits to all of the great people she worked with and learned from to get her where she is today.
She is fascinated with world issues and believes every single person has something to share.

Formerly, Erin danced semi-professionally for the Texas Legends, the NBA D-league affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. She also taught hip-hop, jazz, and drill team dance classes as well as directed a travelling competition team.

She enjoys live music and festivals, watching basketball, and hanging out with her twin sister and family. She is also an expert at Guitar Hero and balloon animal artist.

Erin is excited to start her career here at KWTX and hopes to get to know the people of the Waco area and share their stories. Follow her on Twitter @ErinZellerKWTX.
