KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) The Killeen library and other area businesses suffered a power outage after an 18-wheeler knocked down a power pole.

Police said an 18-wheeler was making a delivery to the H-E-B on Gray St. and Rancier Ave.

Officials said the driver did not realize his trailer caught some power lines and ended up bringing down a power pole.

The pole came to rest between the cab of the truck and the trailer.

Power was later restored to the street lights on 10th St. and Rancier.

The Killeen City Library, a beauty salon and the Free Mason Lodge are currently without power.

The library remained closed for the rest of the day.
