44-year-old Terry Allen Miles, of Round Rock, is now in custody.

Police said a deputy spotted the vehicle described in the Amber Alert on the west side of Las Animas County.

Miles was wanted as a person of interest in the death of the children's mother, Tonya Bates. Police said Miles and Bates were roommates.
