KILLEEN, Tx (KWTX) A suspect is on the loose after an early-morning stabbing in a residential Killeen neighborhood.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Friday.

Police responded to the 5400 block of Fiesta Oak Drive in response to a report that a man had been stabbed.

The 40-year-old victim told police that he was at the home to visit a friend, when he was approached by another man.

An argument between the two men turned physical and the victim was stabbed, officers said.

The suspect ran away from the scene.
