Former Baylor coach Art Briles has landed a coaching job in the Canadian Football league.
He was named an offensive assistant with the Hamilton Tigercats Monday morning, the team announced.
Briles was relieved of his coaching duties by Baylor in May 2016, amid the program’s sexual assault scandal.
The move joins Briles with former coaching rival June Jones.
The two faced off several times as head coaches in college, most recently when Briles was the head coach at Baylor and Jones manned the sidelines for SMU.
Briles coached the Bears for eight seasons, featuring six bowl appearances.
