Man hit by 3 vehicles on area highway remains in critical condition

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A 44-year-old man who was clipped by one vehicle late Saturday night as he attempted to cross U.S. Highway 190 in Killeen, and then was struck by two other vehicles, remains in critical, but stable condition at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, police said Monday.

The man, whose name has not been released, was attempting to cross U.S. 190 at around 11:15 p.m. Saturday near the Trimmier exit off ramp when he was struck by the left side of a Ford F-350 pickup whose driver was attempting to changes lanes to avoid him.

The man was then struck by two other westbound vehicles, a Chevy Sonic, and a second whose driver didn’t stop.

None of the occupants of the vehicles was hurt.
