GATESVILLE, Texas A Killeen man who failed to show up to court in Gatesville Wednesday to enter a guilty plea for online solicitation of a minor sexual conduct, has been found dead in Denton County.

Robert Thomas Duven, 55, was nabbed in an undercover investigation by the Child Exploitation Unit of the Office of the Texas Attorney General in May of 2015.

According to the state complaint report, an undercover agent posted an ad on Craigslist that was set up to be from a 15 year old girl.

According to OAG reports, on May 7, 2015, after a more than five hour text and email conversation between the girl and Duven, agents from the State Child Exploitation Unit arrested Duven at a park in Copperas Cove.

Duven was charged with online solicitation of a minor for the purposes of engaging in deviate sexual intercourse.

Duven had been out on bail for more than two years.

According to Coryell County District Attorney Dusty Boyd, when Duven failed to appear in 52nd District Court at the Coryell County courthouse today to plea and be sentenced, he sent investigators out to look for him.

"We were told by officials in Denton County that Duven was found dead, apparently by suicide," said Boyd.

Duven was facing up to 9 years in prison for the charge.
